Do You Believe In PEDs Or Yourself?

With Lance Armstrong coming out and admitting his use of PED in winning 7 Tour De France races, there is a lot of talk about drugs in sports. The use of performance enhancing drugs has been around for decades. Athletes are always trying to find an edge and team doctors and peers pull them into using them. It is sad that guys and girls can't just train hard and get out there and lay it on the line. In looking at combat sports, we have seen fighters get busted for steroids, HGH (human growth hormone), etc. In previous blogs, I have talked about extreme weight cutting where fighters lose 30 plus pounds to try to get an advantage in a lower weight class. In my mind, one can't be a winner if he or she cheats. Deep down inside, you know that you didn't earn it and now matter how much you lie to folks, you will torture your soul and be disappointed in yourself. Be a true competitor and believe in yourself, not drugs and all the other crap.
